Why BIM?

BIM or Building Information Modeling, is a work methodology that allows us to make a virtual construction of our project called VCM or Virtual Construction Model before proceeding to real construction, with all the benefits that bring us to improve and optimize construction phase. This is possible because it unifies all knowledge, experience, efforts and work of the professionals involved in the project.

With BIM we stop producing paper documentation (either physical paper or digital paper, such as PDF), but produce an intelligent 3D model, the VCM, which reproduces the model to be built, which can access before is actually built.

By offering different views of a single model, we reduce as many design errors as possible by approaching the most efficient planning of resources, suppliers and materials necessary for the actual construction.
